At Royal Docks, we simply adore intellectually challenging brews that beckon one to explore their depths and parse each nuanced sip, but this ain't one of those beers. See, there's thinkin' beer and there's drinkin' beer - and Backyard Crusher is a drinkin' beer. Sure, we could tell you all about the Egyptian black lime, Mediterranean sea-salt and Citra hops that make this tangy golden quencher so easy on the tongue, but that would defeat the purpose. Daemonium presents innocently. Dressed in the pale colours of a far lesser brew, she beckons the unsuspecting close with beguiling aromas and puckish, tingling bubbles. At first furtive sip, however, the ruse it up and the trap is sprung. Too late they see their blunder. Too late they witness the pleasant golden maiden stripped to reveal the ancient face of the demon waiting; its true strength laid bare. Its claws grabbing. Its teeth bared and gnashing. Read Less

According to legend, as told by Beedle the Bard, he who unites the Deathly Mallows is invincible. We thought that was a nice goal to have, so we stared fumbling with ingredients and cans up with this magical elixir. A Milk Stout that starts with a whif of smoky roast and culminates in a delicious toasted marshmallow sweetness that is enough to remind you of younger days around the campfire but not so much to make you forget you're drinking beer. Most beers need a bit of age and some polishing before being kicked from the nest. Other beers are born to run; daring, thundering, people-pleasing hop bombs that should be allowed to roam immediately.

Dare IPA is one of those beers; a young, unfiltered, unprocessed, aggressively hopped West-Coast-meets-New-England IPA bursting with floral and citrus flavours and aroma straight from the tanks into the can [to the taps] [to the keg].

6.6% ABV | 45 IBU

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in that grey twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat. Read Less

2018 GOLD - Great American Beer Festival

Legend has it that King Arthur's father, Uther Pendragon, possessed two magical ales. One of those ales was "wrought in Avalon" to refresh his warriors' spirits and imbue them with the courage of a red dragon. This light-bodied, refreshing ale is gently spiced with herbs and spices native to the Welsh countryside as our homage to that legendary ale. Read Less

London, our muse, is home to a great many beloved characters; Ms. Poppins, Paddington Bear, Fagin, Mrs. de Vil, Oliver! and Mr. Bean just to name a few. Royal Docks has become a second home to a great many characters as well and we dedicate this release to all of our taproom favourites - especially Mr. & Mrs. Preston, Mr. E. Martin, Mr. B. Bailey, The Burmeisters, Mr. R. Schmidt & Co., The Sirpillas and Dr. & Mrs. Cochran to name just a small very small cast. Read Less

Since about 2015, the IBU arms race that dominated the IPA style in the 2000s has waned with a sea-change towards low-bitterness "juicy" IPA's and now their ubiquity has born yet another style. In champaign speak, "brut" means extra dry; likewise, brut IPA's are bone-dry, very aromatic, maybe a bit hazy, maybe not, highly effervescent and nearly devoid of hop bitterness. In short, these are truly the champaign of beers. Read Less

Apr 25 Beer Bingo with Royal Docks Beer Bingo with Royal Docks Another edition of Beer Bingo with our friends out of North Canton at Royal Docks Brewing Co! You’re gonna want to try this beer folks! Apr 27 Strangled Darlings - Canton OH Strangled Darlings - Canton OH Strangled Darlings cuts up the pattern for an indie band while squeezing a full band out of a duo. They left Portland, Oregon three years ago to live in a 20 foot RV and think about the Occupy Movement from the parking lot of Walmarts across much of America. From that comes a patchwork of images, sounds and restrung music that is actually original without being weird. Jess Anderly play bass & foot drums. George Veech plays mandolin. They are actively recording their fourth album from their new home in Bethel, Vermont. View all events
